- LOOP-A-LINE is a upgrade of the well known TX90 LOOP-A-LINE, now providing the service technician with extra features which cut repair and installation costs even further!
- LOOP-A-LINE consists of an OSCILLATOR or TONE SENDER, and a SIGNALLING PROBE. Two sets of test leads complete the equipment. In practice, the service technician connects the oscillator to the cable pair at exchange tag block or cabinet. Then at the FAR END by pressing 'TONE', the probe is first used to DISCONNECT the customer's service and IDENTIFY THE PAIR.
- Adjustable warble tones are available for multiple working.
- After pair identification, the PROBE LEADS may now be connected to the FAULTY PAIR, (live or dead) and the oscillator signalled by pressing
- After pair identification, the pair may now be shorted and the oscillator will beep a confirmation signal.
- 'OPEN' or 'SHORT' buttons, to provide dial or ring-back checks, and bridge fault location tests to be performed.
- After repair or installation, a final press of the 'CONNECT EXCHANGE' button restores the customer's service, and the job is completed.
- 4 STEPS TO BETTER CABLE MANAGEMENT
- 1 Press 'TONE' for Pair Identification Mode - Exchange now disconnected
- 2 Press 'OPEN' - Dial-tone and ring-back tests
- 3 Press 'SHORT' - D.C. Short Circuit. Fault location tests
- 4 Press 'CONNECT EXCHANGE' - Exchange re-connected
- The telecommunications industry relies on high-quality cable installation and maintenance practice. NOW, new LOOP-A-LINE TX915 dramatically increases efficiency by allowing an unassisted line technician working up to 20 kms from the exchange to disconnect the customer's service, identify the cable pair, open and close the loop, and re-connect the customer.
- BENEFITS OF TX915 LOOP-A-LINE
- One technician in total control - no assistance required from the Exchange Multiple journeys along the cable eliminated Four mode selectable switching; no 'time-out' restrictions Unique signalling system patented world-wide Technical
