The distybox provides the communications link to DECT base stations at distances which were previously unthinkable. Depending on the environmental conditions and the type of aerials used, distances of 9 km and more can be bridged.

This means it can be used in WLL systems to provide coverage for extensive areas. It can also provide a low-cost point-to-point connection between remote buildings.
