The 12-84SE POCSAG 2 Relay Output Receiver is available in two versions, a VHF 12-84-0150 and a UHF 12-84-0450 each providing two relay outputs which can be controlled remotely via SALCOM paging systems or wide area paging networks. The 1284SE Relay Receiver provides the capability of remote activation or deactivation of one or two relays on receipt of commands from any portable or fixed location POCSAG paging transmitter or wide area Telecom paging network.
The serial output options allow the 12-84SE to serially output decoded messages for selected RIC ranges or all RIC codes for further processing or logging by PC. The unit receives and decodes a numeric or alphanumeric pager call. If the received unit number matches the 12-84 unit number or group number, the relay output is switched according to the ON/OFF control characters of the message.
The 12-84SE is an economic solution for remote control applications where only one or two switched outputs or are required, or where serial output of decoded POCSAG is desired. Normally closed and normally open relay contacts are available and relay(s) can be individually programmed for latching or momentary operation. With our optional RS485 to Wiegand converter we can interface the unit directly in to our Paxton Access Control System.
This enables many extended features.
